There’s a local smoothie place that makes a fantastic Honey Bear smoothie. I would swing by and grab one as a quick lunch sometimes. It. Is. So. Good. But! They moved across town. Darnit.
I found a few recipes (apparently Honey Bear smoothies are a thing) and I came up with this one that I swear is better than the one I used to buy for however much.
I told myself I wasn’t going to post another smoothie for a while, but I couldn’t help myself. This one is too good to be true. It tastes like a nummy milkshake.
With this, you can make it with either canned coconut milk (richer) or what you find in a carton. Also there’s so much almond butter it is a perfect protein rich meal on the go!
As with all smoothies, pour your liquid in first so you can use the blender basin as a measuring cup. Pour in your coconut milk, now add 4 heaping tablespoons of almond butter, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and a frozen banana.
This is so rich and so good you might feel like it’s more of a dessert. Feel free to make it again at bedtime!

July 17, 2017Sounds delicious! I’m a fellow smoothie lover. I’ve shared more smoothie recipes than anything else! I’ve never had a smoothie quite like this one. I often use coconut milk or coconut water but I’ve never used the canned coconut milk. This smoothie sounds like dessert. Yum!

July 18, 2017Thank you Jennifer! You can use either canned or boxed. The canned is richer and more filling. The boxed is lighter if you’re not looking for something as thick. Enjoy!
