I first tried a similar recipe for this chocolate mousse about a year ago when I was on a detox and it’s my go to chocolate treat in the evening whether I’m detoxing or not! It’s completely healthy so you’re only getting benefits when you eat this.
I decided to try it with chlorophyll to add a minty flavor and it’s fantastic!
With avocado, cacao and chlorophyll as the key ingredients, this recipe is completely dairy and refined sugar free. No upset tummies here.
If you don’t have chlorophyll in your fridge you need to go get some. It helps when you are detoxing or a cleansing. It has cancer fighting properties as well.
The liquid chlorophyll I use has a minty flavor that you can add to any of your sweet treats. And chocolate paired with mint? Yum! You can even mix a little of this in a glass of water and it freshens breath.
So, if you want to, you can make a double batch of this recipe and it’ll last you a few nights when you get that chocolate craving. Ditch your ice cream in the trash.
